Our DNA

Hérée is an architecture and consulting agency operating from Paris, Bordeaux, and Luxembourg

… founded by a duo of passionate architects.

Our story

Our collaboration was born on the benches of the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Nancy, between 2013 and 2016. After several years pursuing distinct paths in France and abroad, our experiences came together in 2024 with the creation of Agence Hérée.

Our name is a tribute to the city that brought us together. On Nancy’s Place Stanislas stands a triumphal arch known as the Arc Héré, a homage to Emmanuel Héré, the architect of the square, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Moreover, the arch shape, which features prominently in the agency’s visual identity, is a direct nod to the Nancy arch, as well as being an iconic architectural form that has spanned the ages.

Our expertise

At Hérée, we believe that the success of a project relies as much on creative inspiration as on technical precision.
Our dual expertise – architecture & consulting – allows us to design unique spaces while mastering every stage, from the first sketch to final delivery.
We work on both demanding heritage restoration projects and new builds with a low environmental footprint, in collaboration with our partner engineering firms. We support professional project owners, developers, institutional investors, investment funds, property traders, and entrepreneurs, in France and abroad.

The intelligence of consulting and the creativity of architecture at the heart of Hérée’s projects

Ludivine Vandendaële

Originally from the Île-de-France region, Ludivine began her career with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at the University of Paris 8, before turning to architecture and completing her undergraduate degree at ENSA Nancy in 2013. She continued her studies at ENSAP Bordeaux, where she earned her Master’s degree while working part-time at the Bordeaux-based agency Latour-Salier, gaining experience in public procurement competitions.

With a Master’s degree in architecture, Ludivine embarked on a year of freelance work marked by diverse experiences: scenography for the Hermès fashion house, assignments for various agencies, and projects for private clients, notably in FF&E. She then joined the Cochet agency, where she prepared for and obtained her license to independently manage architectural projects (HMONP). Over four years, she developed comprehensive expertise there, from design to completion, on projects of all scales and diverse programs: retail, offices, collective housing, and single-family homes.

Outside her professional work, Ludivine nurtures her passion for classical ballet, a discipline where rigor and precision naturally resonate with her architectural practice.

Katiane Christiany

Originally from Lorraine, Katiane pursued her architectural studies in Strasbourg and then in Nancy, enriched by internships abroad in Germany and the United States. These international experiences broadened her design approach, integrating methods and expertise acquired beyond national borders.

She began her career in Luxembourg, where she spent two years working at the firm 2001 and managed her first construction sites, ultimately obtaining her license to independently manage architectural projects (HMONP). Registered with the Order of Architects of the Grand Est region, Katiane then worked for four years as an independent architect, overseeing increasingly complex projects as a site architect in subcontracting for a major French firm. Her work mainly focused on tertiary and industrial projects in the Grand Est and Hauts-de-France regions.

This in-depth experience in project management naturally led her to take an interest in Project Management (AMO), a field in which she undertook training in Paris in the autumn of 2023.

Alongside her professional activity, Katiane is actively involved in the non-profit sector as a board member of the Ekinov endowment fund, which works to improve quality of life and supports socially oriented initiatives.
